This journal, now published in association with Wiley-Blackwell, ranks amongst the leading dairy journals published worldwide and is the Society's flagship.

This Journal publishes original research papers submitted from all over the world, consistent with its growing international standing. These contributions are scrupulously peer reviewed, and also scrutinised by the Scientific Editorial Team and the Publications Committee.

The Journal also contains non-research contributions, embracing both review articles and more general papers of a technical or commercial nature presented at the Society's Symposia and Conferences.

About the Society

Founded in 1943, the Society of Dairy Technology (SDT) is at the forefront of the dairy and food industries. It is dedicated to the advancement of Dairy Science and Technology across all areas of the agri-food sector, to the mutual benefit of milk producers, dairy processors, food retailers and consumers

The Society is the recognised professional body fostering scientific and technological developments in the dairy industries of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Whilst its many members are predominantly from these two countries, it also has wider international representation through overseas members drawn from other EU countries and further afield.

Events

Yoghurt & fermented products

27th/28th March 2012
The next event in the highly successful series will include a visit to the Muller factory in Shropshire (spaces very limited), the conference will be held at Harper Adams University College and will include a visit to their new facilities along with a wide ranging programme of technical papers.

A full programme and booking form will be available in due course; expressions of interest are welcomed by email to Maurice Walton (execdirector@sdt.org)

University College Cork is the next venue for 2012 and a broad interest 2-3 day event is being planned for 6th September
