Benefits of Membership

The benefits of Society membership to both members and non-members alike include:

  • free electronic access to all back copies of the International Journal of Dairy Technology – back to Issue No.1 published in 1947.
  • free subscription to the International Journal of Dairy Technology, which costs £248 to a non-member subscriber. The publication contains peer-reviewed technical articles, consisting of reviews, Conference/Symposium contributions and original research papers from around the world on the latest developments in Dairy Technology.
  • members' newsletter, which contains both short articles and news about Society developments - including a Members' Page
  • reduced member's rate for (i) attending the Society's Symposia, Conferences, Residential Courses and Study Tours and (ii) purchasing its Technical Manuals/Publications. The latter are now being updated and expanded by the appointment of a dedicated Technical Series Editor
  • inclusion in a Members' Directory, an important dairy industry reference source which will facilitate social and networking contact between members
