Sycamore delivers bespoke automated CIP system for Müller Yogurts & Desserts

Designed to provide efficient and reliable cleaning of stainless-steel mobile tanks, the system delivers a maximum cleaning flow rate of 50,000 litres per hour and incorporates a 16-way mobile tank docking station to support greater flexibility and efficiency.

The project presented several engineering challenges, including a restricted installation footprint and limited site access. Sycamore used a shared 3D design environment to support collaboration throughout the project and developed the CIP system using a modular construction approach. This allowed the equipment to be assembled, piped, wired and Factory Acceptance Tested off-site before being transported and lifted into position through the process building roof.

The completed installation is designed to provide improved cleaning efficiency and hygiene, reduced maintenance requirements and downtime, and greater operational flexibility.
