With over 40 years experience in the dairy industry, my key roles were Group Technical Director of Dairy Crest for 15 years and Technical Director of Yoplait UK for 5. I have also worked in Ireland and France, as well as working with the International Dairy Federation in over 15 countries, and operating for the past 10 years as an Independent Consultant. My broad experience has included leading R&D programmes resulting in the development of brands such as Clover, Cathedral City & Frijj, implementing best in class Good Manufacturing Practice Standards, & the technical leadership of major industry investments in cheese manufacture, added value whey processing and supply chain facilities.

I operate happily at all levels, from developing strategic technical plans to the detailed solving of product specific technology and microbiology problems. I also have a broad range of business and people development interests and experience, supported by qualifications in business administration, coaching and change management.  Coaching, development and training feature strongly in my work.

Liz has more than 40 years experience within the dairy industry and dairy education. Her research topics have included Listeria monocytogenes as well as Blue Stilton cheese. She is an experienced trainer and can either deliver consultancy or training in areas such as HACCP, food safety systems, practical food and dairy products manufacture, microbiology and technical aspects. Liz is an experienced trouble shooter and can apply theory to practice to resolve issues. She offers consultancy in all aspects of dairy technology and is well known for her work with cheese makers. Theory and practice of cheesemaking courses are run regularly out of Duchy College, Launceston but can be delivered on customers' own sites.

With over 30 years working in the dairy food and agricultural sector, Chris has an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing the food and dairy supply chain from primary production through to retail supply.  During his career, the cereal/dairy farmer's son has played a lead role in land based education and training, rural business and regional development, with particular emphasis on the dairy sector.  This breadth of experience has been instrumental in his determination to promote best practice and the sustainable future for dairy processing in the UK through Skills development.  In his previous employment positions, Chris has worked as a food supermarket manager, product development technologist, an operations manager with Milk Marque, Warehouse Operations manager, he has lectured in Food and Dairy Technology for 15 years in addition to managing the product development halls at Reaseheath College.  Latterly he has worked for 4 ½ years with Arla Foods as their Technical Competence Development Manager and then 12 months with Tetra Pak UK processing systems concentrating on dairy plant business development. He has his own Dairy Technology Training and Consultancy now – The Dairy House Ltd.
He believes that the food industry must continually be in a position to change and adapt in response tomarket demands by keeping abreast of the ever changing factors within global dairy sector.
