CONFERENCE VENUE

University College Cork, which has a proud heritage in Dairy Education in Ireland and recognized as an international centre of excellence in Dairy Research, is the venue for this years Autumn Conference. Located on the banks of the river Lee and landscaped by nature the UCC campus has many interesting buildings and features, ranging from the historical Stone Corridor of the Main Quadrangle to the modern Lewis Gluckmann Gallery in the Lower Grounds.

One of the Top Ten Cities in the World to visit (Lonely Planet Guidebook) Cork is described as “sophisticated, vibrant and diverse while still retaining its friendliness, relaxed charm and quickfire wit” and was European Capital of Culture in 2005.
